| The
Latvian Australian Credit Cooperative was formed on 9th October, 1960 and
has operated successfully since, providing a variety of financial services
to our members. Our assets are currently over $15 million.
Our membership is governed by a common bond and consists of persons of Latvian origin or those related to persons of Latvian origin or having an affinity with persons of Latvian origin. An organisation (incorporated or unincorporated) whose membership consist primarily of persons of Latvian origin may become a member. Intending members are required to complete a Membership Application and pay $10.00 (for 5 shares @ $2.00). Membership is subject to approval by the Board. In addition to loan and investment products we provide many other services to our members, including:
